Karen Tero and her husband, David began homeschooling their children 29 years ago. They have twelve children, ages 6 – 33. Tero Family Ministries is devoted to encouraging families through preaching, teaching, and singing. Their focus is discipleship and exhortation. The Mother’s Role in Discipleship
This session will focus on the mother’s role in instilling godly character into the lives of her children through discipleship. Some of the topics we will cover are exactly is discipleship?
– How important is a Bible curriculum?
– What What are some practical ways to disciple my children?
– What are some of the struggles in discipleship? And what are the rewards?
Seasons of Life: In this workshop, we will use Ecclesiastes 3 as a springboard to explore the seasons in a woman’s life. We will be looking at God’s purpose for ourselves as well as for our children in each phase of life. Join us, as we learn how God works to provide a rewarding harvest for those who are willing to yield themselves His plan.

Tero Family Ministries are devoted to encouraging families through preaching, teaching, and singing. Their ministry spans the generations as they serve children, youth, families, and senior adults through camps, conferences, church services, and more. The older Tero children have helped the CHEF Children’s Program since 1998 and they have organized and led the children’s activities for the CHEF Leadership Summit since 2013.
